Sivani Founder, Yoga Instructor, Art of Ascension Meditation Instructor, & Ayurveda Wellness Consultant Sivani Ishaya has spent the last 20 years diving into holistic approaches to relieving stress and pain in her body. At a young age, Sivani was met with the trauma of losing her sister to suicide. This event shook her world and led her down a path of deep questioning. On her journey, Sivani went from losing the faith she was raised with to rebuilding a faith built on the truths she felt from her innermost being. At her most vulnerable moment, Sivani was shriveling on the inside. She had a deeply personal decision to make: step back from her family so she could build a life that would sustain her or die. During this time, Sivani extensively dug into studying and embodying the Ancient Vedic Traditions. |

Arya
Yoga Instructor, Health & Wellness Coach, & Art of Ascension Meditation Instructor There have been two main passions in the past 25 years of my life. First and foremost was my attraction to meditation and secondly to care for those in greater need than myself. A more recent interest is the actual practice of yoga on a mat. I am a perfect role model for those of you that have little interest in yoga as it is understood by the average person but still seek greater health and connectivity to a deeper part of themselves. My life transforming exposure to meditation started when I was completing my undergraduate studies where my capstone project was Meditation for Global Healing. To complete this project I learned Chi Gong and loved it but still sought more. That lead to exploration of an ancient Korean technique that followed similar concepts and was interesting, but still I wanted more. That longing ended when I came across the Art of Ascension a “meditative like” practice that has improved every area of my life. I have deeply dove into this practice and taught others for more than a decade. Caring for others appealed to me as the result of struggling with life threatening health circumstances at a very young age. As I made the strides to overcome this challenge in my life, I was left with the desire to support others and inspire them to do the same at any stage of their life. Giving to another requires first that I take care of myself so that I am capable of holding another up. This requires a constant practice of maintaining balance in a world that is far from it. It is this aspect of balance that has opened my eyes to the benefit of rolling out a yoga mat and giving the body another aspect of what it requires to live healthfully. |
It is my passion to help others achieve this balance in their lives no matter what walk of life. With love, with joy, with a bit of light hearted fun to keep growing and expanding further into all areas of our lives!

Judy
Senior Yoga Club Instructor My yoga journey began five years ago, and has been my passion ever since. I love how the practice of yoga – for the young as well as for the less young can enrich the lives of every one of us. My plan for my class is that it will be instructional as well as inspirational. My hope is that no matter where you are in your yoga experience, my class will deepen your love of and practice of yoga, at the same time moving you forward on your own unique path. Whether you are just beginning to discover the benefits of exercise or you have been working out for years, yoga will enrich and balance your exercise program and your ability to enjoy life. I will be leading the hatha method, bringing together the body and mind through a series of physical movements. I am grateful for the gift of this practice daily, and grateful to be able to assist others in transformation and awakening.
